The Connecticut State Police Academy Alumni Educational Foundation was founded in 1989 with the sole and exclusive purpose of raising funds for current educational scholarships and endowment funds for future educational scholarships. scholarship committee that works within the parameters of the CSPAAEF By-Laws to award scholarships to students - the son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter of a CSPAAA member in good standing for at least two (2) years - who meet the criteria. Scholarships are given based upon the student's academic merits as well as his or her activities and honors both in and out of the classroom. CSPAAEF scholarships are to be used by the recipient to pursue a college education leading to an academic degree.

The Connecticut State Police Academy Alumni Educational Foundation raises funds for these scholarships through several avenues. The CSPAAEF operates a store through which the profits of all sales of Connecticut State Police memorabilia (including apparel and accessories for men and women as well as children) are turned over the scholarship fund. The CSPAAEF also solicits private donations from individuals, businesses and foundations and may occasionally hold an event expressly for fundraising purposes.
